SPH-3U Newtons Third Law of Motion

Newtons third law, it states for every action force there is a reaction force that is equal to the action force but is opposite in direction. Why is this important? Well without this law we wouldn't be able to know many questions involving pushing problems, for example when a bug hits the wind shield of a car why does it get squished? the force that the bug is exerting on the windshield is the same as the reaction force, but there is a difference in mass which gets the bug to squish onto the windshield.
